What do I need to see and hear podcasts? To see and hear podcasts, you need a computer with a sound card. If you want to take your podcasts on the go, you'll need to transfer them from your computer to a portable media device. Do I need special software to receive podcasts?* To receive podcasts automatically, you need podcast subscription software such as Apple's iTunes (which has the software built in), or services such as Odeo . Why don't video podcasts play on my PC?* Purina video podcasts are in .mp4 format, which you can view using the QuickTime player, RealPlayer or iTunes - all of which are available at no charge. Windows Media Player does not recognize .mp4 video files. If you have trouble viewing Purina video podcasts, download one of these players and try again.
